The Ohio Department of Education has made funds available for school districts to create alternative educational programs. Sidney city and Shelby county schools have been fortunate enough to be recipients.

The grant money has allowed our schools to open a non-traditional school setting where students are presented with opportunities for high school success and graduation.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

  • Come with a positive attitude
  • Have a desire to graduate
  • Attend class daily Mon-Thur 3pm-7pm
  • Pass OGT as required
  • Secure and maintain a job approved by the CBIP coordinator

STUDENT PROFILE

  • Enrolled in Sidney city or Shelby county schools
  • 16 years of age or older
  • Earned fewer than 6 credits
  • Other criteria may apply and students will be considered on an individual basis
